Who is responsible for this site
Vitaly Chopik, located in Belarus, is responsible for the processing described in this policy. For privacy questions or requests, contact info@mindsvary.com. Minds Vary is an educational publication in English, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese, not a clinic, therapy service, or health-record system.
Information we collect
Minds Vary does not ask visitors to create accounts, submit contact or signup forms, leave comments, join a newsletter, or provide health information. Private worksheets, including task-start and task-restart cards, appointment notes and sensory work plans, keep their field contents in the browser; those contents are not sent to Minds Vary. The website and its infrastructure may process technical request information such as IP address, browser and device details, requested URLs, timestamps, referring pages, security records, and diagnostic information.
On the production Minds Vary domains, an external arrival can trigger a lightweight operational alert. Before storage or transmission, the browser limits the landing URL to its pathname and the campaign parameters utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term and utm_content; other query parameters and fragments are removed. The HTTP(S) referrer is limited to its origin and pathname, without login details, query or fragment; invalid referrers become empty. The alert sends the project name, that minimized landing path and referrer, browser languages, browser time zone, platform, screen size, and viewport size to a server endpoint controlled by the publisher. That endpoint derives the IP address, user agent, and, when hosting headers provide it, approximate city, region, country, continent, and time zone. A random arrival ID and session storage are used to prevent duplicate alerts; the alert does not ask for a name, email address, or health information.
After you accept analytics, Google Analytics 4 may process online identifiers, browser and device information, approximate location derived from IP address, pages viewed, interaction data, and referral information. Microsoft Clarity loads after acceptance on general pages, but is disabled on the task-start card. On that card, custom print and reset events contain only the page language; worksheet field contents are not sent. The task-restart, appointment-notes and sensory-work-plan worksheets disable analytics and operational arrival alerts entirely. A partner outbound click may record Hapday as the partner and its link domain; it is not a purchase event. The site does not use analytics or operational alerts to ask for, infer, or create health profiles. Please do not send health information, medical records, identity documents, or other sensitive information to the publisher unless a secure process has been explicitly introduced for that purpose.
Cookies, browser storage, and analytics
Minds Vary loads Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-Z5CD7LP73B) only after you select “Accept analytics.” Microsoft Clarity also loads after acceptance on general pages; it is disabled on the task-start card. These services may process online identifiers, browser and device information, approximate location, pages viewed, and interaction data under their own terms. Google Analytics may use first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_ to recognise a browser or session.
The site stores your analytics choice in browser local storage for up to one year. Selecting “Decline” blocks analytics scripts on future page loads and stops future analytics requests; accessible Google Analytics cookies are removed. If you change your choice after accepting, already-loaded scripts cannot be unloaded from the current page, but future requests are disabled. This does not reverse information sent before you made the choice. You can reopen Cookie settings in the footer at any time.
How we use information
Technical information is used to deliver, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot the website. Operational alerts let the publisher see that a visitor arrived, identify the Minds Vary project, understand the available referral or campaign source, and investigate basic delivery issues. Analytics is used to understand aggregate audience activity and improve editorial content, navigation, and site performance.
Minds Vary does not use Google Signals, advertising personalization, remarketing, or Google Analytics advertising features. The site does not sell personal information or knowingly share it for behavioral advertising. Where applicable law requires a legal basis, technical and operational processing is carried out for the legitimate interest of operating and understanding a secure website, and analytics is processed as permitted by applicable law.
How information is shared
Information may be processed by service providers that support the site, including Google and Microsoft for analytics and hosting, infrastructure, and security providers that deliver and protect the website. Operational arrival details are sent through a server endpoint controlled by the publisher to a private Telegram bot chat so the publisher can receive the alert. Telegram may process that message under its own terms, safeguards, and privacy practices. Bot credentials are kept on the server and are not sent to visitors.
Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, security, or operation of Minds Vary. The site may link to external resources; their privacy and security practices are controlled by their own operators, not Minds Vary.
Retention and security
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. The session-scoped arrival fingerprint remains until the browser session ends or storage is cleared. Operational alerts may remain in the publisher’s private Telegram chat until they are deleted. Your analytics choice is designed to remain for up to one year unless you change it or clear browser storage. Analytics retention is governed by the Google Analytics property settings, while technical logs are retained according to infrastructure practices and operational needs.
Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect information, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Aggregated or deidentified information may be retained for longer when it cannot reasonably be linked back to an individual.
Your choices and privacy rights
You can stop future analytics requests by selecting “Decline” in Cookie settings in the footer. That control does not disable the essential, cookie-free operational arrival alert. Browser controls may block cross-site requests or clear cookies and local or session storage, although doing so can prevent the site from remembering choices or duplicate alerts.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to ask about access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or to complain to a data-protection authority. To make a privacy request, email info@mindsvary.com with enough detail to identify the concern. We may request limited information to verify identity before acting on a request.
Children and changes to this policy
Minds Vary is a general-audience editorial site and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the site.
This policy will be updated before the site introduces forms, newsletters, accounts, advertising, new analytics tools, or another material data practice. The current version was last updated on October 16, 2026.
